Cornwall Wedding Photographer – Trevenna Barn Wedding

I first met Damon and Connie at a Wedding Fair near Newbury. They were looking for a Cornwall wedding photographer to photograph their wedding at Travenna Barn near Liskeard. It wasn’t long before Damon was quizzing me on my choice of camera and lenses, so it was fairly obvious he was a keen photographer himself. Always keen to travel to the beautiful South West, I was delighted when they asked me to join them and be their Travenna Barn wedding photographer.

Anyone familiar with these shores will know that the west country gets more than its fair share of rain, and Liskeard is no exception, but we weren’t going to let a few dark clouds and drizzle get in the way. What colour was lacking in the sky was made up for in the floral arrangements brought to life by Escential Blooms.

Being Australian, Damon had a healthy sized crew that had made the lengthy journey from down-under, and with Connie’s mother originating from Venezuela, this was going to be a very continental gathering. Connie’s beautiful dress was from Bride to Be in Newbury and Damon’s face was quite a picture when he set eyes on her walking down the aisle. The day progressed with a beautiful ceremony followed by some quite close to the bone speeches delivered by the Australian contingent and then fun and laughter into the evening. In between, Damon, Connie and myself managed to sneak out of a few occasions to get some portraits done. Something I wanted to do before they rip on the dancefloor.
