Danish Delight

I love a danish. I love a good wedding too. So what a treat to be asked to go out and shoot a Danish wedding. Copenhagen the setting, a hot July day the time. Janus and Natascha were to tie the knot in a C of E church and once complete, had arranged to ferry their guests to the wedding venue by boat. The champagne flowed, not for the captain I’m pleased to say and the celebrations began. We had beautiful weather and were spoiled with a tour of the cities wonderful architecture along the waterside. These guys were so in love they could hardly keep their hands off each other. not a problem for me as the photography became quite easy at this point. No need for direction, just let them get on with it. I particularly like some of the back lit photos here, what a treat.

I started at their house in Ealing where their sweet little daughter was initially quite wary of the camera. It didn’t take long before she warmed to me though and soon she was dancing and posing like a little pro. I do like it when I’m allowed to ride in the wedding car, not just because in this case it was a 1963 ...
