Documentary Wedding Photograper
CREATIVELY CAPTURING YOUR DAY AS IT UNFOLDS
Antje and Graeme wanted a documentary wedding photographer to capture their wedding at Ealing Town Hall, where they invited just a few close friends and relatives to witness their special day. I started at their house in Ealing where their sweet little daughter was initially quite wary of the camera. However, it didn’t take long before she warmed to me and soon she was dancing and posing like a little pro.
Life is a series of moments.
My aspiration is to capture the essence of those moments we want to keep alive.
As a successful documentary wedding photographer and family portrait photographer my fascination with people is paramount. Everyone has a story to tell and I try to find it.
Let’s face it, we’re talking about a major investment. To skimp on the pictures would be foolhardy. One must search for a poetic atmosphere to capture the heart of the emotion. There’s more to that than merely pointing the lens and clicking the shutter. Thought and sensibility are required to capture the event and lift it above the ordinary. I possess a watchful eye and a geniality that count as much my technical expertise.
“Joel has an amazing gift of invisibly witnessing every special moment with his camera. Not just the set pieces – and he captures all of those with perfect timing – but also the intimate moments of fun, family and friendship. His artistic eye means every picture has a magical quality of light and detail. We were left with a beautiful set of candid portraits of our children, parents and friends that we will cherish for many years.”
